Firearm-related suicides are a public health crisis fueled by invisible forces—social despair, systemic inequity, and historical disinvestment. But what if we could predict and prevent them using data?
Join ACHDM Fellows Brian Lane, Dr. Kim Byas, and Endrit Meta as they unveil a first-of-its-kind approach to suicide prevention, rooted in social determinants of health (SDoH) data. Drawing from the Cleveland-based SDoH Innovation Hub, launched in partnership with AWS, they’ll demonstrate how real-time data integration and predictive modeling can transform community well-being—locally and globally.
Discussion Topics: Social Determinants of Firearm Suicide, Predictive Modeling with SDoH Data, Innovations in Crisis Response, Community-Based Pilot Programs, Intergenerational Housing Models, National Scalability & Global Impact
