March's BONfire: Riding the Data & Digital Transformation Waves of Healthcare

adea894b-84ef-4b22-9153-6d4f77a389dc

The healthcare industry is in the midst of an unprecedented digital transformation, with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other IT systems playing a critical role in delivering patient care.

However, large-scale IT implementations often prioritize adoption over optimization, leaving end-users struggling to keep up with evolving technologies.

ACHDM Fellow experts will take a deep dive into the challenges of data and digital transformation addressing change management in healthcare and explore strategies to ensure technology enhances—not hinders—clinical and administrative workflows.

While we have learned many lessons riding these waves, the biggest waves of technology (e.g. Agentic AI, Quantum Computing) are yet to come, are we truly prepared?

Discussion Topics: Adoption Without Optimization; Strategic Education & Training; Human-Centered Design vs. System-Centered Deployment; Change Fatigue & Digital Overload; AND Disparate Communication.
